It all started with a pool toy.

My POOLSIDE series all started with seeing a child's pool toy floating across. The reflection of the eye in the chrome hand bar just called on me to capture it on film. I used Polaroid 809 film using an 8x10 camera. The exposure was two minutes long. Since that day I have shot a huge amount of images of pool floats in that same pool on instant film and black &white negative film. Recently I stated using a small digital camera under the water's surface to push the view point further.

Welcome to my blog. I hope to share ideas and to learn new things from you. Photography is very serious but without an element of play it would not be nearly as creative and inventive.
